Hi all I wish everyone a
Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year; hope you have a good one!
I have not ridden for a month now due to poor weather; I am hoping for a
National League team place in 2009. I would like to thank everyone that
has helped and supported me this year it's been really helpful. I would
like to say a massive thank you to all my sponsors this year for their
help and a big thanks to DAH web design for the website.
Merry Christmas and a happy New Year. All The Best,

Hi all
On the 9th November I
was racing at Rye House with the STR, it was a very good day but the
track was really tricky but we all did what we needed to do and it
was great fun.
In my first ride I was chasing
for second place for two laps and still did not quite get it then my
front wheel went over the camber and I slipped off.
In my second ride me and Steve
Oakey were chasing for 1st , Steve was on the outside I
was on the inside then I went and made my move up the inside and
ended up clipping the person in 1st ;I remounted and got
back in the race to finish second.
Altogether I had a 3, 2, 2, 1
which gave me enough points to get into the A final. I was off gate
4 so I was planning to cut back under all of them but that did not
quite work so I chased hard for four laps to get 1st on
the last lap which I was really pleased with.
I would like to thank Wayne
Dunworth and Dale Allitt for their help and advice on the day!
Thanks also to everyone involved and to Len Silver for making a good
racing track from poor conditions.

Hi all
On the 29th October I
was racing in the 2nd leg of the CL final which was good
experience for me. It was a good day but I have never seen a track
that looked so nice, it looked slick but it was pretty grippy and I
struggled a little bit but over all I think I did pretty well and I
tried my best.
In my first ride I was chasing 3rd
place then going into the 3rd lap on the 1st
bend Tim Webster fell off and I laid my bike down and slid across
the deck and caught Tim which was painful but we both got up and
rode again in our other programmed rides; then Chris Widman had a
nasty tumble and withdrew from the meeting which gave me his rides
as well which I was happy with because it gave me the experience
that I needed which was making me get quicker and quicker as the
meeting went on. Altogether I got 4 paid 6 which I was very pleased
with because I was not expecting to score anything .
I would like
to thank the Boston Promotion for giving the opportunity that I
thought I would never have got, thanks.

Hi all
On the 24th
October I made my Conference League (CL) debut at Plymouth; it
was a good enjoyable experience although Boston unfortunately
lost. I had 3 last places but was not giving up in any of them,
I was in 3rd then I locked up then I got passed. The
track at Plymouth is pretty small and pretty rough and bumpy but
you have got to ride all tracks.
On the 25th I was
riding at Weymouth which was also another good experience; once
again I got last place in all 3 of my rides but it was a tough
meeting with a pretty wet and slimy track but it was all good
experience and I enjoyed every minute of it.
On the 26th I was
supposed to be a Boston for the 2nd leg but it got
called off and has been rearranged for 29th.
See you soon,

Hi all
On the 19th October I
was racing at King’s Lynn with the STR in a 4TT in Matins Marauders.
In my team was Chris Widman, Russell Paine, Adam Outbridge, Tony
Venables and me. We had a really good day, I had a 3,3,3,2,2 which
was the 2nd highest. The match was a last race decider
which I was in so I was concentrating because we all wanted to win
and I made the gate and managed to win the race and the meeting for
the Marauders and when I finished I got the bumps.
In the evening I was named
number 8 for Boston, then I got asked to sign for them which I would
never have thought that I would get this opportunity and when an
opportunity like this arises you have to grab it with both hands and
just try your best which I am going to do.
I will be making my debut on
this Friday at Plymouth. I would like to thank Boston for giving me
this opportunity and I will put 100 % effort in for you !!!

Hi all
On the 11th October I
was racing in the U-15’s at Buxton which was a nice journey with
some light rain, we had a really good day but when we got there it
was pretty windy and then it started to have a light drizzle again -
then stayed like that all day with pretty thick fog but it was
really good trying to ride in the conditions. It was pretty hard to
see in one of my rides, I locked up and shot straight across the
middle which I got excluded for. In my others I did pretty well in
and altogether at Buxton I finished 2nd which was enough
to give me the Under 15 Championship overall which I am really
pleased for.
I would like to thank everyone
of my sponsors for backing me this year and all the fans and
supporters. A special thanks to Paul Hurry and Stuart Douglas for
all their help at Lakeside this season.
Thank you all,

Hi all
On
the 28th September I was racing at King’s Lynn with the
Southern Track riders in my first meeting in the intermediates which
was pretty good with some close racing. I really enjoyed it because
it is like a little family because everyone helps everyone and I
would recommend STR to everyone who wants racing experience.
In my rides I had a 1st,1st,1st,1st,1st
as I said there was some close races on the day and I think my last
ride was the better than all my others.
Thanks to Boston for letting me
have a 2nd half and thanks to Wayne Dunworth for helping
me out.
24.9.08
Hi all
On the 17th September
I was riding at King’s Lynn in a proper 7 vs 7 meeting; I was riding
for King’s Lynn against Rye House. I was at reserve along with Scott
Meakins, in my first ride I had to avoid Scott and I ended up in the
fence but I carried on in the meeting. It knocked my confidence a
bit but as I said I carried on and was getting a bit better each
time I went out; altogether I finished with 4 points which I feel I
could have done better.
On the 19th I was at
Lakeside doing some practice races and again in my third ride I
ended up in the air fence so this week I have visited a couple of
fences, which one was pretty painful!
I also was riding at Weymouth in
the Under 15’s on the 13th September which I did pretty
well in and I finished 2nd in total. I am doing really
well and I need to win the next round at Buxton to win the under
15’s which I am looking forward to.
All the tracks this year in the
under 15’s I have never rode before neither has a couple of others
so we are doing pretty well.
Cheers

Hi all
On the 23rd August I
was racing for Ipswich Academy against Rye House and did pretty
good; it was a really good meeting although Ipswich lost we all
enjoyed ourselves and tried our best. I had a couple of last places
with a couple of thirds but it was a good experience. I would like
to thank Jeremy Doncaster and Brian Messenger for giving me this
chance, it was great !
On the 1st September
I was training with STR at Rye House on my 500 and had an excellent
day but there are still some improvements I have to make; once they
are done it should be good. I was getting some information from
former riders Russell Paine and Colin White which was a great help
and helping me get quicker and quicker as the day went on. The track
was really slick but you have to ride all sorts so I have to get
used to it. I would like to thank everyone who helped me in these
events it was great.
Also, a get well soon to Andrew
Johnson who hit the fence and cut his fingers open badly, thanks and
get well soon.
18.8.08
Hi all
On the 16th August I
was racing in the U15’s at Northside on my 250 which was a bit of a
long journey but I have to get used to it.
It was a very nice day and some
good racing; at the begging of the meeting we had 2 practice laps
which I went out with John Resch and we were going onto our second
lap and John came under my inside where there wasn’t a lot of room
and clipped my front wheel and I came off but I carried on racing
and I had a few battles with Nathan Stoneman but I nipped underneath
him and he also had his chain come off.
I spoke to John after the
meeting and he said there was a gap then there was not a gap and we
were laughing at each other. I had a 3,3,3,3,3 in my rides and it
was real good fun, I would like to thank everyone for making this
meeting go ahead.
Thanks.
15.8.08
Hi all
On the 14th August I
was racing in a 3TT at Ipswich against Rye House, Poole and Ipswich;
I was riding for Ipswich and I did really good with some close
races. I had a 1,0,2’,0,2’ and in the race we all did to see who
went to the final I got out of the gate and was leading down the
back straight, then Olly Rayson and Jo-Jo Jacobs went round me and I
just managed to keep off Jake Knight but it was pretty close.
I really enjoyed myself and I am
getting more confident and I would like to thank those who helped
get this event organised. A special thank you to Brian Messenger and
Donkey (Jeremy Doncaster) for their help and support
Cheers everyone. I will be next
racing at Rye House on the 23rd but I might be doing some
2nd half’s before then but I will keep you up to date.
Thanks
10.8.08
Hi all
On the 6th August I
was racing at Poole in an Academy match for Rye House. I found the
track was really nice but you had the odd ruts on the bend that
caught you out; I was against Darcy Ward, Brendan Johnson, Matt
Bates and Kyle Newman who are all Conference League riders but it
was good to race people like this so I can get faster and faster.
On the 7th August I
was racing at Ipswich which I found really good except the track
being really greasy where it was so slick and it rained a little bit
but we managed to stay on.
On the 8th I was
racing at Lakeside against Dan Berwick and I lost to him both times
but I was pretty close to him and in my second ride I improved my
time by 3 seconds which was really good for me.
I would like to thank all the
promoters for giving me the track time which I really need. I will
next be racing in an under 16 4 Team tournament at Ipswich where I
will be racing for Ipswich.
Thanks again, see you soon

Hi all
On the 31st July I was racing at Ipswich;
I had 3 rides and I got three third places.
The track before the meeting was pretty patchy but
after the main meeting the track was very slick. The weather was
looking a bit overcast and I was hoping that it did not rain and it
didn’t, on the way home it did though.
I would like to say get well soon to Oliver Rayson
after lifting and hitting the fence, hope you get well soon mate.
Thanks, see you soon
25.7.08
Hi all
Sorry I have not been keeping
you up to date but I have been really busy riding. On the 23rd
July I was at Birmingham riding for the Coventry Academy team; I was
up against Jack Roberts, Lewis Dallaway, Jay Herne and Adam Lowe I
found it good experience going out with riders like these and learnt
a lot from it although I finished last in all my races.
On the 25th July I
was riding at Coventry against Dan Greenwood and James Sarjeant
which I came last in all my races but I was not that far behind
them. I found it a good experience to race people that I can chase
down and try to beat like these did, it was a great experience and
would love to do it again. I am next out at a STR meeting on Sunday
at King’s Lynn.
Thanks all.
6.7.08
Hi all
On the 5th July I was
racing 2nd halves with Jake Knight and Joe Jacobs .
We had 3 races in which I
finished 2nd in all of them but each time I went out I
was improving really good and I was getting faster and faster. The
track was very slick but it was a good race track Thanks to Rye
House promotion for letting do 2nd halves.

Hi all
On the 28th June I
was racing at Cardiff before the Grand Prix itself in a 250cc
demonstration race which was very close. I just managed to get under
Nathan Stoneman on the last bend on the last lap and I would like to
thank everyone for their help and support. Also thanks to Peter
Oakes and the BSI for giving us this opportunity.
On The 30th June I
was racing at King’s Lynn against Jack Butler we only managed to get
one race which was better than none at all and I won that race.
Thanks To Dunni and the Boston promotion.
On The 31st June I
was racing at Lakeside before the Sky meeting. I had three races and
got two seconds and a third. My 250cc has decided to die on me so it
has gone for a service but thanks to the Lakeside promotion for
letting this happen.
Cheers all.

Rhys will
no doubt do his own press release when he gets chance but I would
like to congratulate him on a fantastic ride at Cardiff yesterday in
the build up to the British Grand Prix.
Rhys came out in the second race and although his bike didn't get
off the start very well he chased the other three riders, he never
gave up and got what he deserved which was the win he took on the
finish line. Well done mate.
The action from the three junior races can be seen here (Rhys is in
heat 2):

Hi again
Last night
I was riding at Rye House doing second half’s with jo-jo Jacobs,
it was a very good day and I finished last out of the 2 of us in
our 3 rides.
I will next be making my
outing at Cardiff which I am really looking forward to and I am
really excited.
Thanks to everyone who
helped yesterday including Jack Butler.

Hi all
On Thursday the 19th
June I was racing at Peterborough in a 250cc meeting, it was
very good and the track was very slick.
In my races I had a 1st,
1st, 3rd , 1st which I was
pleased with but I was not pleased about the 3rd
because I made a mistake I will never make again.
I would like to thank
Laurence Rogers and Trevor Swales for putting this meeting on,
it was great fun.
On Friday 20th
June I was racing at Lakeside, I had 2 rides because of the
weather and came 2nd in both of them. I would like to
thank the Lakeside management and Gerald Ritcher for letting the
juniors go on.
On the 21st June
I will be racing on my 500 at Rye House, I will update you the
results as soon as I can.
Thanks all, see you soon.
3.6.08
Hi all Friday 30.05.08 I was at Lakeside; I was meant to be on my 250cc for a
couple of first half rides and when I arrived and got my bike
set up to take part I was asked to ride in the Academy League as
they were short. Although I said yes I was unsure of riding my 500cc
as I have not had much practise, so I got 3 rides on my 500cc I
finished last in all my rides but knew I could have done a lot
better than I did. Whether it was nerves or not I do not know but in
finishing last and not gating - I need to address maybe I built
myself up too much to ride the 250. But I would like to thank
everybody concerned; Paul Hurry for giving me a chance and Fred
Parkin for his support and to my pit crew on the night of Mum,
Thomas, Stevie and Dad Thanks for all the hard work.
Saturday 31.05.08 Very different
day went to Rye House on my 500cc I was going to get one ride ended
up with two, this time just laps with a rolling start but I did go
off the starting line felt comfortable and steady in my first ride
and in the second ride I sped up a bit more I would like to thank
the Rye House Staff for the opportunity.
Sunday 1.06.08 Back on the 250cc
for second half racing at Mildenhall. I had three rides and three
wins but there were three other riders with me and we all upped our
riding. My Mum filmed us, I have watched it a couple of times now
and there was a lot of improvement for Connor, Tom and Adam. After
watching the film it was good, my experience won the day for me with
Adam a close second, Tom and Connor 3rd and 4th who have not been
riding as long as me and Adam. Adam gave me ride to remember in the
last heat, he gated and I went to the back on the first turn. Adam
got in front and took the line, it was a great move by Adam as I had
to lock up, then I had to reel in Tom and Connor back to secure the
win but Adam knew where I was all the time so I had to go on the
outside of Adam to get past but managed it. Again thanks to everyone
that made it possible including the Mildenhall staff.
27.5.08
Hi all
On Saturday the 25th
May I was racing At Scunthorpe Against Conor Dwyer, Tom Stokes,
Joe Newey And Adam Portwood. There was some excellent racing all
day with lovely weather but it was very dusty.
There was a race of the day
when Conor Dwyer was leading me and Adam Portwood, Conor was
leading me and Adam by a corner which was really good for Conor
and I just about got past Adam and then I was chasing down Conor
and just got him going over the line.
On Sunday me and Tom Stokes
were training on our 500cc to get our confidence up and we were
slowly but surely improving each time we went out which was
really good because we were both pretty nervous before we went
out but we ended up starting the day really good and ended up
finishing even better .
Monday I was meant to be
racing at Coventry but it was called off!
Keep up the good riding
Conor. I would like to thank everyone for their help over the
weekend, it was great.
Thanks

Hi all
On the 12th May I
was racing second half at Coventry; I got 3 races in which I won
two and came a close 2nd in my last one. It was a
great night with some really good racing.
The track looked grippy at
the beginning of the meeting for the Elite league riders but
then it was very slick afterwards but we all managed to get
around safely.
I would like to thank the
promotion of Coventry for giving me the chance to ride. Thanks
all.

Hi all
On the 5th May I
was riding at Wolverhampton in a second half 250cc meeting and
it as real great fun. It was good because Laurence Rogers is our
helper and he was encouraging us and was advising us how to ride
the track; we all sat down together at the beginning of the
meeting and watched some excellent races and some really good
passes. I really enjoyed it because it was another track
experience and was a really good race track.
I would like to thank
everyone who helped organise more track time for the 250cc
riders, it is a great pleasure and a massive thank you to Mr
Laurence Rogers.
Cheers All

Hi all
On Sunday Boston's match was unfortunately
cancelled and I went to Mildenhall for a couple races. In my
first ride I had clutch problems as I had not adjusted it right
although I got to the first bend so did the other 3; I was off
gate 4 and we all pretty much went round the first bend together
and I finished third in my second race. I had put my clutch
right and got a flyer whilst I got to the first corner so did
one of the other riders; unfortunately we connected and I came
off. I would like to point out that there is no blame to anyone,
it was first bend bunching and I came off worst.
All the best.

Hi all
On Wednesday 9th April I was
racing at Boston; it was a
great pleasure. I was doing second half’s after the meeting with
Matty Allitt and we got to the tapes, then they went up and so
did poor Matty Allitt so we did not get to race anymore.
On the 12th April
I was at Rye House doing some second half's on my own and got a
couple of rides that I very much enjoyed and would like to
thank the promotion at Rye House for letting me race, I really
enjoyed it and I was riding pretty good which was the best
thing.
Thanks everyone, all the
best.

Hi all
On the 6th April
I was riding with the STR at King’s Lynn, we all had a good day
and the track was very tricky and patchy to start off with but
we all coped well.
I had a 3,3,3,3 and finished
second in the final. I was really happy when I got all my firsts
then got disappointed with the second place in the final when I
lost to Tom Stokes.
I would like to say well done to all the 250cc and 500cc riders
on the day because they all rode sensibly and there were not too
many accidents.
Also thanks to The Southern Track Riders Association for letting
us ride again.
Thanks.
2.4.08
Hi all
On the
1st April I was riding on my 500cc at King's Lynn at
Boston’s Press and Practise day; I had a very enjoyable day and
got to meet up with the Boston team.
I had
quite a few rides and then I went out in my last one and pulled
in because my arms were aching but apart from that everyone said
that I did really well and I am pretty pleased with the way I
rode. I would like to thank Andy Taylor and Jon White for their
help setting up the carb and everyone else who helped me on the
day
Thanks.

Hi All
On the
30th March 2008 I was riding at Mildenhall having
second half races; I had two races and finished 3rd
and 1st . I was a bit disappointed in my first one
because I did not make the gate and the same happened in my
second race so I had to do it all from the back and it was very
hard work.
Thank
you everyone for your help support and effort, all the best.
25.3.08
Hi All
On the 21st
March I was riding at Ipswich against Brendan Warvill and Adam
Portwood; we only had 1 race due to bad weather but I knew from the
beginning that I was going to be lucky to get a ride because the sky
was grey and I knew it was going to rain or snow.
The result
was me, Adam Portwood and Brendan Warvill. In the evening I was
meant to be racing at Lakeside but it was called off for the
juniors.
On the 23rd
I was meant to be at Scunthorpe and that was also called off.
On the 24th I was racing at Coventry against Tom Stokes,
Connor Dwyer and Adam Portwood; we had 2 races and in the second one
it was awarded because Connor hit the fence.
The Results
were me, Tom Stokes, Adam Portwood then Connor Dwyer in both races.
Get Well
Soon Connor and thanks to Stevie for coming all the way to
Coventry. Thanks to everyone who has helped me at the start of this
season, its been excellent working with you.

Hi all
On Friday
14th March I was riding at Lakeside (Arena-Essex) and had
three rides; in the rides I think I was improving bit by bit each
time but still have a little coasting and must get rid of it but
that’s down to me. Only I can do that but I was getting quicker and
quicker in my three rides.

Hi all
On the 7th
March I was riding at Lakeside practising with the team and some
others; it was a good day but I was very slow and I am going to put
right what’s wrong.
On 8th
March I rode at Scunthorpe and had a better day than I did at
Lakeside. I had a 3,3,3,3,3,3,3,2 which was really good for me
because I have never scored that many points at Scunthorpe before
and the times I did were really fast. The track was in a lovely
condition and it was a nice day.
At
Scunthorpe it was me, Tom Stokes and Adam Portwood and we were all
having very close races and made some excellent passes.

Hi all
On
the 2nd March 2008 I rode at King’s Lynn in a couple of
250cc races in the Southern Track Riders Association and had a
really enjoyable day with a 2nd, 1st, 1st,
1st, 1st, 2nd.
This gave
me first place overall I had a very good day and would like to thank
Southern Track for letting us join and thanks for everyone's help.

Hi all
Today I
rode at Sittingbourne with training from Leigh Lanham; I had a very
good day but started off a bit slow although I was flying by the end
of the day. I really enjoyed myself and had a great day with Leigh
and I would like to thank Leigh and everyone for their help.
19.2.08
Hi all
I rode at Scunthorpe on the 16th February; it
was a pretty cold day with some good racing and I finished 3rd overall
but drew for 2nd with Tom Stokes (he won on count back). I had a 2,2,2,2,2,1,1,2and I think I could have done a bit better. Adam Portwood finished the day in his last
race and won that and it was a close race. All The Best.
10.2.08
Hi all
On February 10th I was riding in a Southern Track Riders practise day
and had a very enjoyable day and was improving each time I went out.
The track was in very good condition
and was getting very slick towards the end of the day, I was on my 500
and it was probably the fastest I have been on it and it was easier to
ride when I was going faster.
I will next be appearing at
Scunthorpe on the 16th February in a 250cc challenge and am hoping to
come away with an excellent result.
I would like to thank all the
people for their help and advice.
2.2.08
Hi all
On the 2nd February I was riding at king's Lynn alongside Adam Portwood,
Matthew Allitt and most of the Boston team. I had a very enjoyable day
and was improving each time I went out. It was a nice day and the track
was really good, on my first couple of outings I was on my 250cc, then I
went on my 500cc and was looking comfortable and confident as people
said to me as I came in.
Matthew Allitt was improving as the day went on and did well for his
first time back on his bike. Adam Portwood had a good day as well and is
improving each time he gets on his bike.
I would like to thank everyone
for their help and their support, it was a very enjoyable day with a
good track to practise on and it was a good to speak to some of the
Boston riders.
28.1.08
Hi all
On the 26th January I rode in my first ever 500cc competition at
Scunthorpe. There were 8 youth 500cc riders and I finished 5th, my aim
was to get ten points but only achieved 7 but I'm happy with that
because it was only my first time in a meeting and I scored really well.
I had 3rd, 3rd, n/s, 1st, 2nd, n/s which I thought was really good for
my first time and hopefully next time I will reach my target. I would
like to thank everyone there for their help and support.
22.1.08
Hi all
On the 14th January I rode at King's Lynn STR and was a very enjoyable
day alongside Adam Portwood who was flying, probably the best I have
seen him ride and I was also doing the best I have probably been as
well. I would like to thank everyone for their help over the two
sessions, I had a lovely time and a special thank you to Cookie, Wayne
Dunworth and Dale Allitt.
On the 20th of January I was
riding at Sittingbourne and it was good but I was struggling to ride so
we made a change with the bike and went out and snapped a chain which
was not good but it was a good day with good training. Again, thanks to
everyone for their help and support.
8.1.08
Hi All
Sorry I have not spoke to you for a
long time but my internet has been down.
On the 30th December I rode at
Sittingbourne on my 500, I was really confident towards the end of the
day and started attacking the 3rd/4th bend but I was not too confident
on the 1st/2nd bend. Stevie had me doing starts from the finish line to
the first bend every time I went out but when it came to doing four laps
I found it difficult going into the 1st/2nd bend but was really good
going into the 3rd/4th bend. In my last go I went into the 3rd bend and
came off but I'm fine now. For the people who don't know Stevie, he is
my tutor and has been really helpful to me. Cheers Stevie.
On the 6th I was on my 500 and my
250. On my first outing on my 500 I was really good; I was attacking
both bends and my dad and Stevie were very pleased with me. I maintained
that standard throughout the day. When it came to me on my 250 it was
really good and going really fast; in my last go I was going from the
start to the 1st bend but I did not make it because I flipped it and
hurt my back. It was my fault because I did not have enough revs at the
start and when it lifted I shut off and opened it up again but I did not
realise that until I watched the video when I came home.
